Includes an overview of statistics, common complications & well-known interventions, introducing an important national resource, and emphasizing the importance of holistic intervention for the population of patients living with limb loss and/or difference.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Acknowledge understanding of limb loss statistics in the United States.
  2. Verbalize understanding of national resources available to patients living with limb loss and limb difference.
  3. Understand, implement, and demonstrate skills related to common occupational therapy practices, new resources, and evidence-based practices in post-amputation rehabilitation
