Manual Therapy for the Wrist and Fingers

Short Abstract:

Detailed review of anatomy and arthokinematic directions of the wrist, thumb and fingers. Manual therapy mobilizations of the wrist, thumb and fingers will be taught, as well as treatment techniques for quick transition from the classroom to the clinic.

Learning Objectives:

  1. The audience will be able to describe the differences between a convex and concave joint surface
  2. The audience will be able to perform a dorsal and volar wrist glide
  3. The audience will be able to list all of the directions and motions of the carpometacarpal joint.
