Learning Objectives:

By the end of the presentation, the learner will be able to:

  1. Identify 2-3 health promotion and wellness principles that align with occupational therapy for facilitating successful aging in place for older adults at the individual, group, and community levels
  2. Identify 2-3 elements needed to design an evidence-informed, occupation-based wellness program that addresses priority areas such as fall prevention, cognitive health, social participation, chronic disease management, or home safety.
